Cape Lambert Port B
Located 40km’s north of Karratha, Cape Lambert is one of Rio Tinto’s main sea ports for exporting the proceeds of its iron ore mining operations in the Pilbara region. Completed mid-2015 and costing more than $270 million, the Port B (Phase B) Project encompassed the construction of a new port facility designed to create an additional 100 million tonnes of export capacity annually.
Rollwell Engineering was contracted to provide several packages of products throughout the Port B (Phase B) construction project. The packages included structural steel, car dumper liners and pontoons.
