Karara Iron Ore Project

Located 200km south-east of Geraldton in the Shire of Perenjori, Karara is the largest mining operation in the mid-west. It produces high-grade iron ore which is exported to steelmakers around the world. With an expected life of more than 30 years, the operation includes a large open pit mine, complex ore processing plant and significant infrastructure and logistics networks.

Rollwell Engineering was contracted to supply and manufacture a steel lifting frame and several 45meter termination poles for this project.
