Rio Tinto Rail Capacity Enhancement
Rio Tinto’s Rail Capacity Enhancement project was one of the most significant railway expansion projects ever carried out in Australia. Including duplication of 70km’s of rail track as well as construction of new bridges and culverts, the project was designed to increase the production capacity of Rio Tinto’s Pilbara rail network to over 350 million tonnes per annum.
Rollwell Engineering was contracted to manufacture, surface treat and supply two x 45m termination poles for this project.
